About us

We are Emma and Paul. We moved from Brixton in 2011 when Paul finally let Emma fulfil her need to keep lots of animals. With our two young children, Ella and Megan, we stumbled upon Little Oasis, which was then a campsite, while hunting for our rural dream. We instantly fell in love, moved lock, stock and barrel and threw ourselves into a completely new way of life!

We found the wagons on Ebay while we were knee deep in rubble, renovating the house. We decided they would be perfect (with a bit of tlc) to create a magical holiday setting here among the minature watermill, private pitches and many trees.

Lovely friends traded their skills for holidays to help us refurbish the wagons and we opened in 2012. It was a fast learning curve but we love sharing our dream with people and watch them relax into the peace and beauty of their glamping adventures.

Emma is in charge of the day to day running of the site and smallholding, while Paul still commutes to the big smoke. Growing up in London, Emma had no experience of farming, but has jumped headlong into shepherding, and livestock. Paul loves being back in Wales and greatly enjoys having all the power tools!

We are always happy to show you around, discuss sheep, the fun and challenges of our new lives and feel so lucky that we get to meet so many wonderful guests.
